Esthetic dentistry is gaining a lot on popularity at the moment. That happens thanks to combination of two elements health and esthetic. Diversity of currently available techniques, allows to achieve the desired goal- a beautiful smile, and to correct shape, colour and placement of the teeth. Healthy, straight and white teeth are undoubtedly a sign of vitality and enhance beauty of the owner. Perfect smile is the foundation of a beautiful face. Therefore we approach each patient individually to come up with a treatment plan, suiting best their needs.

Ceramic veneer

Ceramic veneer is a thin esthetic cover thanks to which a doctor can give the tooth he desired shape, colour and size. Usually all-ceramic veneers are used, as that material ensures the best quality. Ceramic veneers don’t get discoloured, and moreover they maintain their shape and beautiful look. Veneers are an alternative to full crowns because of:

  • Minimal preparation of hard tissues of the tooth,
  • Exceptional marginal density,
  • High resistance to wiping away,
  • Good esthetic effect,
  • Compatibility with periodontal tissues,
  • Improvement of patients general condition.

Thanks to veneers one can have teeth of perfect shape and colour even if their own teeth are far from perfect. Implementation of veneers is a precision work giving satisfactory and lasting effect.

Ceramic fillings onlay and inlay

Ceramic inlay and onlay fillings are cosmetic composite or porcelain fillings in tooth crown. Their specific feature is that they can be used to reconstruct big losses. They are an alternative to traditional fillings. They make it possible to reconstruct anatomical shape of the tooth, and contact points. They are lasting, esthetic and resistant to wiping away. They don’t get discoloured. Reconstructed tooth looks natural and is functional, mainly thanks to precise reconstruction of anatomic shape. Depending on patients needs one of two solutions is used:

  • Inlay is a filling based on pressed forms, done in prosthetic workshop, that is outside patient’s mouth. This ensures exceptional durability, precision and high resemblance of original tooth.
  • Onlay is used in case of large crown degeneration, when the tooth can be kept alive (i.e. there is no need for root canal), and lasting reconstruction preserving healthy, natural fragments of the tooth crown. This treatment is done in the laboratory.

All ceramic crowns

All-ceramic crowns are the most advanced achievement of esthetic dentistry. They are characterized by esthetics, durability, precision and safety. The lack of metal base makes the light reflect on them in the same way as on natural teeth. Tooth with a crown is undistinguishable from a natural tooth. The problem with a visible small metal element on the gum, disappears as well.

Teeth bleaching

Dreams of beautiful smile will come true thanks to this technique. The treatment is simple and very effective. The doctor takes pressed forms of patient’s teeth in his/her practice. Then in laboratory thin, transparent, close fitting onlays, based on the forms are made. On their next visit patients get the onlays together with a set of syringes with bleach of strength compatible with teeth sensitivity. After two week period of wearing the onlays during the night the teeth are whitened.
